Devin Foley is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Charlemagne Institute, which operates Intellectual Takeout, Chronicles: A Magazine of American Culture, and the Alcuin Internship. He is a graduate of Hillsdale College where he studied history and political science. Prior to co-founding Intellectual Takeout/The Charlemagne Institute, he served as the Director of Development at the Center of the American Experiment, a state-based think tank in Minnesota. Devin is a contributor to local and national newspapers, a frequent guest on a variety of talk shows, such as Minneapolis' KTLK and NPR's Talk of the Nation, and regularly shares culture and education insights presenting to civic groups, schools, and other organizations. In 2011, he was named a Young Leader by the American Swiss Foundation.
EDITOR IN CHIEF: Paul Gottfried
Paul Gottfried, Ph.D., is editor-in-chief of Chronicles. He is the Raffensperger Professor Emeritus of Humanities at Elizabethtown College, a Guggenheim recipient, and a Mises Research Fellow. Paul also serves as president of the H.L. Mencken Club and cohosts the Cotto/Gottfried interview program on Roku. Edward Welsch is the executive editor of Chronicles: A Magazine of American Culture. He was previously a journalist covering the financial markets and energy industry for The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg News from bureaus in Washington, D.C., New York, and Calgary, and was also the editor of financial newsletters. He is an undergraduate of St. Olaf College and a student of its Great Books program, and holds a master’s degree in Journalism and Communications from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
FOREIGN AFFAIRS EDITOR: Srdja Trifkovic
Srdja Trifkovic, Ph.D., is foreign affairs editor for Chronicles: A Magazine of American Culture. He is a professor of international relations at the University of Banja Luka in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the author of several books, including The Sword of the Prophet and Defeating Jihad, and a frequent guest on RT.
